Blood Donation Campaign at weba – Taking Responsibility, Promoting Health

Social responsibility does not begin outside the company, but within the working environment itself. Sustainable corporate management combines economic performance with active engagement for employees and society. The blood donation campaign conducted at weba exemplifies this commitment – as part of a holistic strategy in the areas of Corporate Responsibility and employer positioning.

Corporate Responsibility with Tangible Impact

Corporate responsibility becomes visible where initiatives create measurable added value. As part of a company health day, a blood donation campaign was organized at the site in cooperation with the ÖAAB and the Austrian Economic Association (Wirtschaftsbund). Numerous employees participated and made a valuable contribution to society through their donation.

In addition to the blood drive, free hearing and vision tests were offered. A healthy snack and accompanying first-aid courses – ranging from 8- and 16-hour programs to a pediatric emergency course – complemented the initiative and further strengthened awareness of prevention and safety.

Health as a Strategic Success Factor

Occupational health promotion at weba Werkzeugbau is not a stand-alone initiative, but part of a long-term strategic orientation. Ergonomic workplaces, height-adjustable desks, fresh fruit available to employees, and various sports activities create conditions that sustainably support performance and well-being.

Healthy employees form the foundation for innovation, quality, and stability – particularly in a technically driven working environment.

Employer Branding Through Lived Responsibility

Employer attractiveness arises where values are visibly practiced. Initiatives such as the blood donation campaign not only strengthen team spirit but also position weba as a responsible and forward-looking employer.

A work environment that actively promotes health, safety, and social engagement increases identification, motivation, and long-term employee retention – key factors in an increasingly competitive labor market.

The blood donation campaign represents a corporate culture that systematically integrates responsibility. Corporate Responsibility and Employer Branding are closely interlinked and form the foundation for sustainable growth – with a clear focus on people, quality, and future viability.
